My journey in education began in 2016, while I was still studying for my A Levels.

What started as teaching alongside my own studies gradually became something much more meaningful. Working closely with students, I began noticing a problem that traditional education often overlooks.

There is a remarkable difference between knowing a subject and knowing how to teach it.

I met students who struggled in classrooms but understood the very same concepts when someone took the time to explain them differently. Students who were labelled as weak or inattentive often needed something surprisingly simple: patience, individual attention, and a teacher who could see the subject through their eyes.

That experience changed how I looked at education.

I realised that academic qualifications alone do not make someone an exceptional teacher. True teaching requires the ability to understand a student's thinking, identify where their understanding breaks down, adapt to their learning pace, and build the confidence to ask questions without hesitation.

As I continued my own professional journey, becoming a Chartered Accountancy finalist and developing expertise in artificial intelligence, this belief only grew stronger.

Today, I also work with Meterbolic, a UK-based health technology company applying AI and metabolic data to help people better understand and improve their health. Working at the intersection of technology, data and human behaviour has reinforced something I first discovered in the classroom:
