Subhan was a bright child with the ability to do well academically.
But his school experience had become increasingly difficult.
Bullying, classroom pressure and discouraging experiences with teachers had begun affecting his confidence and ability to focus.
As the pressure grew, his academic performance declined. He started falling behind his classmates, and despite his potential, his examination results no longer reflected what he was capable of achieving.
Eventually, his parents made a difficult decision. They withdrew him from school temporarily and chose to pursue personalised private O Level coaching.
Their goal wasn't simply to improve his grades. They wanted their son to feel confident about learning again.
When Subhan joined Infinity Learning, the priority was to understand him as a student before expecting him to perform like everyone else.
His tutor focused on building trust, identifying his learning difficulties, and creating a manageable academic plan. Rather than overwhelming him with the entire syllabus, they concentrated on preparing him for two O Level examinations in the upcoming session.
The lessons moved at a pace he could follow. Questions were encouraged, progress was recognised, and difficult concepts were revisited until he understood them.
Slowly, Subhan began rediscovering his confidence.
And then came the results.
After previously receiving ungraded results at school, Subhan achieved an A and a B in his two O Level examinations.
Subhan didn't suddenly become a capable student. He had always been capable. He simply needed an environment where his ability could flourish.
These are individual experiences shared with permission. Every student is different, and we cannot promise any particular grade or improvement.
