1. Our Commitment
Infinity Learning believes that every student deserves to learn in an environment built on respect, patience, safety and encouragement.
We recognise that academic progress is closely connected to a student's confidence and wellbeing.
Bullying, humiliation, harassment, inappropriate behaviour and exploitation have no place in our tutoring arrangements.
This policy describes the standards we expect from tutors, staff, parents and students.
2. Scope
This policy applies to educational interactions arranged through Infinity Learning, including:
- Online tuition
- Introductory trial classes
- Tutor matching and assignment
- Home tuition placement activities
- Communication involving students
- Parent and tutor coordination
For physical tuition, parents and tutors assume responsibility for their ongoing direct arrangements after placement, subject to any continuing obligations established by law or specific agreement.
3. Parental Involvement
Parents or guardians should arrange tutoring for students who are minors.
Parents should know:
- Who is teaching their child
- When lessons are scheduled
- Which communication platforms are used
- How to raise concerns
- How to contact Infinity Learning
For online tuition involving younger children, appropriate adult supervision should be available.
4. Tutor Conduct
Tutors are expected to:
- Treat students with respect and dignity.
- Use age-appropriate language.
- Maintain professional teaching boundaries.
- Avoid humiliating or intimidating students.
- Respect students' privacy.
- Use authorised communication channels.
- Report relevant safeguarding concerns.
- Avoid requesting unnecessary personal information.
Physical punishment, sexual misconduct, harassment, discriminatory abuse and exploitative conduct are prohibited.
5. Online Lesson Safety
Online lessons should take place on an agreed educational platform.
Tutors must not request personal photographs, private social-media access or unrelated personal information from students.
Any lesson recording must follow a separately agreed policy addressing purpose, notice, consent where required, access and retention.
Until such procedures are approved, Infinity Learning should not routinely record lessons.
6. Communication Boundaries
Communication with students who are minors should remain relevant to their education.
Where practical, parents or guardians should be included in or informed about important scheduling and administrative communications.
Tutors should not use student contact information for personal, commercial or unrelated purposes.
7. Home Tuition Safety
For in-person lessons, parents should arrange a suitable teaching environment.
For younger students, lessons should ordinarily take place in an appropriate shared space, with a responsible adult reasonably available.
Parents should understand the identity of the visiting tutor and agree on safe attendance arrangements.
Infinity Learning should not describe tutors as formally background-checked unless those checks have actually been completed and documented.
8. Bullying and Emotional Wellbeing
Students may experience academic pressure, anxiety about examinations or difficulty adapting to school environments.
Tutors should approach students with patience and encouragement.
They should not shame students for mistakes or compare them negatively with classmates.
If a student appears distressed or discloses a serious wellbeing concern, the tutor should report it through the appropriate safeguarding process rather than attempting to diagnose or provide unqualified counselling.
9. Reporting Concerns
Parents, students and tutors may report inappropriate conduct or concerns to:
Email: contact@infinitylearningpk.com (opens in a new tab)
WhatsApp: +92 339 8041190
Reports will be reviewed with appropriate confidentiality, taking account of the student's safety and any legal reporting obligations.
10. Immediate Safety Concerns
Where a child faces immediate danger, the appropriate local emergency or child-protection authorities should be contacted without delay.
Infinity Learning's internal complaint process is not a substitute for emergency assistance or statutory safeguarding procedures.
11. Confidentiality
Safeguarding information must be handled sensitively.
Information should only be shared with people who have an appropriate need to know, or where disclosure is required or justified to protect a child.
12. Policy Review
This policy will be reviewed when safeguarding procedures, service arrangements or legal requirements change.
