UK Qualifications and Ours: What Is Different
Getting this right matters, because a tutor who knows the wrong syllabus is of little help.
- GCSEs and A Levels in England, Wales and Northern Ireland
- Separate qualifications with their own specifications. Cambridge describes its O Levels as comparable in level to GCSEs, but we do not assume the content matches. Ask us whether we can confirm a tutor for your child's subject and exam board.
- Scottish qualifications
- Scotland has its own system. The same applies: tell us the course and we will say honestly whether we can help.
- Cambridge O Level, A Level or Checkpoints
- Subject tutoring where your child studies these through a school or exam centre that offers them.
- Pakistani boards (Matric, FSc, ICS)
- Curriculum-aligned lessons for children who want to stay on the Pakistani pathway.
Online lessons do not replace school or exam registration. Cambridge and board exams are entered through an exam centre or board.

Evenings in the UK Are Late Evenings in Pakistan
The UK is five hours behind Pakistan in winter and four hours behind in summer, because the UK changes its clocks and Pakistan does not. After-school lessons therefore fall in Pakistan's late evening, so weekends are often the easiest slots.
- Weekend mornings in the UK fall in the afternoon in Pakistan, which many tutors find easier.
- Weekday lessons after 6 pm in the UK start close to or after 10 pm in Pakistan. We check what tutors can offer before promising a slot.
- Term-time and half-term dates differ by area, so tell us about school holidays when you enquire.

After the free trial class and once the fee is confirmed, online tuition is paid monthly in advance to Infinity Learning. We explain everything before you commit, and no fees are paid to individual teachers.

You pay the confirmed tuition amount to Infinity Learning's official company account, not to individual teachers.

The monthly fee is agreed with you after the free trial class, before any payment is due.

Online tuition is billed one month ahead so lessons continue without interruption.

Are Cambridge O Levels the same as GCSEs?
Cambridge describes O Levels as comparable in level to GCSEs, but they are separate qualifications with their own specifications and exam boards. Many topics overlap, but a tutor needs to know the exact syllabus your child is studying. Tell us the qualification and the board.
Can you tutor my child for GCSEs?
We do not advertise GCSE tutoring. If your child needs it, tell us the subject and exam board and we will say honestly whether we can confirm a suitable tutor. We will not promise what we cannot confirm.
Will lessons fit around UK school hours?
Often at weekends or early evenings, subject to the tutor's availability. Because Pakistan is four to five hours ahead, weekday evening lessons can be late for the tutor, so we confirm this before arranging anything.
My child studies a Pakistani board syllabus at home. Can you help?
Yes, subject to tutor availability, for Matric, FSc and ICS. Tell us the subject and level so we can look for a tutor with the right focus.
Is there a UK office I can visit?
No. Infinity Learning is an online service with a team based in Pakistan. We have no office or centre in the United Kingdom.
How do fees work from the UK?
